Meeting of third year Mechanical Engineering students with Shri Jagdish Panchal, Minister of State(Industry and Protocol), Government of Gujarat 26 April 2022 Mechanical Engineering The third-year Mechanical Engineering students visited swarnim sankul-2, where they had a meeting with Hon. Minister of State Shri Jagdishbhai Panchal (Industry & Protocol Minister) and Mr. Kamlesh Makwana (Personal Secretary to Minister of State, Higher & Technical Education department). Students have discussed points related to district and industry center facilities, various schemes, and policies for innovation and start-up, and issues related to the start-up journey. It was a fruitful meeting. Students also facilitate Hon. Minister with in-house-built memento.

GCET Robotic group TEAM GCET ROBOCON has won IHFC award(I-Hub Foundation For Cobotics, IIT Delhi) in final stage of DD ROBOCON 2021 on 18th August 2021. The team receive the a trophy and ₹50000 from IHFC. 18 August 2021 Central Activity GCET is glad to inform you that with hard work of Robotic group TEAM GCET ROBOCON has won IHFC award(I-Hub Foundation For Cobotics, IIT Delhi) in final stage of DD ROBOCON 2021 on 18th August 2021. The team also receive the a trophy and ₹50000 from IHFC. The ABU Asia-Pacific Robot Contest (ABU Robocon) is an Asian-Oceanian college robot competition. In the competition robots compete to complete a task within a set period of time. This year theme was Throwing Arrows* inspired from ancient game in China. TEAM GCET ROBOCON built 2 robots: Throwing Robot and Arrowkid Robot for completing the task.
