On March 25, 2026, the 2nd-year Mechatronics students of G H Patel College of Engineering & Technology (GCET) under The Charutar Vidya Mandal (CVM) University successfully completed a comprehensive industrial visit to two prominent manufacturing facilities in Anand: Fine Cast (Gujarat) Pvt Ltd and Unique Forgings (India) Pvt Ltd.

Industrial Visit to NAMTECH, IIT Gandhinagar Campus

The Mechatronics Department of G. H. Patel College of Engineering & Technology (GCET), Vallabh Vidyanagar organized an industrial visit to NAMTECH (New Age Makers Institute of Technology) located at the IIT Gandhinagar campus. A total of 21 students of 6th semester Mechatronics, along with two faculty members Mr. Sanjiv Rajput and Dr. Ravi Gandhi, visited the institute on 24th March 2026. The visit was conducted between 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Visit to International Automobile Centre of Excellence (IACE), Gandhinagar and Shree Vallabh Alloy Steel Castings Pvt. Ltd. GIDC, Vithal Udyognagar

Visit was arranged to International Automobile Centre of Excellence (IACE), Gandhinagar to study Automobile Research, development and training centre on 20th March, 2026. (Sem 4 students – 30) with the Faculty team of Dr. Manan Desai and Dr. Mitesh Vegad. On the same day another Visit was arranged to Shree Vallabh Alloy Steel Castings Pvt.
