Ideation Workshop on Smart Manufacturing “3D Printer and CO2 Laser Cutter”

Institute Innovation Council of G H Patel College of Engineering and Technology (GCET) in collaboration with AICTE IDEA LAB, GCET, organized a Workshop on “3D Printer and CO2 Laser Cutter” at GCET, Vallabh Vidyanagar on 22nd November 2024.

IGNITE'24

The GCET ISA Student Section has planned an event IGNITE’24 for Second year, Third year and Fourth year students of all branches. During morning sessions from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, we have invited distinguished speakers, possessing extensive expertise and experience in their respective disciplines. In the afternoon session from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, we have planned to organize nontechnical activities, aimed at fostering enjoyment and camaraderie among the students. A wide range of entertaining activities will be offered, including interactive team-building exercises, creative competitions, fun zones, and both indoor and outdoor games.

Educational visit to Sewage Treatment Plant, Anand.

The main aim of visit is to understand the various components of sewage treatment plant and functions of each component. To get the knowledge of zero waste generated sewage treatment plant with latest technology.

Industrial visit for 2nd and 4th year Mechanical Engineering students

The Mechanical Engineering Department of G.H. Patel College of Engineering and Technology (GCET), under the guidance of Prof. Jvalant Trivedi, organized an industrial visit to Mubea Automotive Components Pvt. Ltd. on 25/09/2024. The purpose of this visit was to provide students with practical exposure to automotive manufacturing processes and industry practices. Prof. Jvalant Trivedi was present to guide the students throughout the visit.

IGBC Week Celebration 2024

IGBC week is celebrated every year in the 3rd week of September. In this context, the department has organised technical event, nontechnical event, expert talks and educational visit with the theme.

Institution’s Innovation Council and Department of Electrical Engineering of G H Patel College of Engineering & Technology (GCET) in collaboration with Incubation and Entrepreneurship Development Cell (IEDC) GCET organized an “Innovation and Entrepreneurship Outreach Program in School/Community” at Shree Daxinamurti High School, Vallabh Vidyanagar on 30th August, 2024.

Celebration of National Space Day

On August 23, 2024, GCET College celebrated National Space Day with a series of events that highlighted the importance of space exploration and the role of India in the global space community. The celebration brought together students and faculty for a day filled with learning, creativity, and thought-provoking discussions. The event commenced with an inspiring speech by Dr. Smita Joshi, a renowned figure in the field of space science. Dr. Smita Joshi emphasized the significance of space exploration in advancing human knowledge and how India, through ISRO, has been contributing to the global space community. Her words set the tone for the day, encouraging students to think about the vast possibilities that space exploration holds....

Venture Capital funding Opportunity for Early stage Entrepreneurs

On occasion of World Entrepreneur Day – Department of Mechanical Engineering arranged a talk titled: “Venture Capital funding Opportunity for Early stage Entrepreneurs“ on 21st August, 2024. The session was conducted by Mr Kaival Dave, Assistant Professor, C Z Patel College of Business and Management, VVNagar.

Industrial Visit -eInfochips, Ahmedabad

G H Patel College of Engineering and Technology (GCET) in collaboration with the International Society Of Automation (ISA) GCET Student Section and Department of Information Technology GCET, organized a one-day industrial visit to eInfochips, Ahmedabad on 16th August, 2024. This visit was organized for students of 3rd year CSE(IoT) and 4th Year IT and CSE (IoT). A total of 41 students from the Information Technology and Computer Science & Engineering (IoT) branch with 7 faculty members had participated in this visit.
