DEBATE WEEK

        GCET LANGUAGE CLUB celebrated a DEBATE WEEK from 27/02/2017 to 11/03/2017. It was an inter lab activity where all students actively participated and share their ideas on the given topic. They came to know that it’s not an easy task to argument with each other. It requires ideas about various facets of the society and the world. Debate topics were – 1. SHOULD THERE BE MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS FOR POLITICAL LEADERS OR NOT? 2. CHINA IS THREAT TO INDIA. 3. GOVERNMENT SECTORS SHOULD BE PRIVATIZED OR NOT? 4. Does Social Media useful or is it the sophisticated means for stalking other people? 5. Is Cricket hampering other sports of India? 6. GDH (Gross Domestic Happiness) is more important in judging the well-being of a country than GDP (Gross Domestic Product) Students presented their ideas, participated actively along with their interest and enthusiasm and they learn, how to argue/share and reply and conclude the topic, importance of body language and presentation skills, selection of word and sentences, organizing contents, collect facts and figures and time.
