In this course, faculty members of Mechatronics, Electronics and Electrical engineering departments shared their knowledge in benefit of student participants. Students were not only made familiar with the importance, strength and future scope of Mechatronics engineering, but also with the topics such as Robotics, Mechanical design and actuators, PLCs, Electrical Drives, CAD / FEM, Hydraulics and Pneumatics, Microcontrollers, Distributed Control System, etc. This was the first ever certificate course organized by Mechatronics department in the state of Gujarat. For making this event successful Dr. C.L. Patel (Chairman, Charutar Vidya Mandal), Dr. Himanshu Soni (Principal, GCET College) and ISTE Chapter (GCET) provided necessary arrangements and financial support. This event was organized under the guidance of Dr. Sanket Bhavsar (Head, Mechatronics Department), who served as organizing secretary of this event. Dr. Anand Joshi and Prof. Ishaq Sheikh helped as coordinators of this event. Faculty members of Mechatronics department contributed a lot for the success of this event.
