The Electronics and Communication Engineering Department of G H Patel College of Engineering and Technology (GCET), a Charutar Vidya Mandal institute, Vallabh Vidyanagar, has organized Poster presentation on Disaster Management, which was coordinated by Prof. Chetna Shah on 6th October, 2016. The event was organized for the Third year students of Mechanical engineering Department. It was a group activity; there weretotal 71 students present, three participants in each group. There were around twenty seven (27) posters in this event. Students learnt team work and discipline and how to bring ideas on a piece of a paper and coordinate them with the use of language. Students also got some ideas about past and recent Disasters which will be useful to them for their poster topic selection. This event was evaluated by Prof. D.S.Modi from Civil Department of Birla Vishwakarma Mahavidyalaya(BVM) Engineering college.Objectives of this event :To enhance knowledge of students,To bring awareness of government organization functions,To know working role of a person during disaster
