An industrial visit was organized to Kosh Energy Technologies Pvt Ltd. for EV minor degree students of GCET accompanied by four faculty members, two each from mechanical and electrical engg. Department and a lab technician. About 30 students participated in the visit which commenced at 8am in the morning and concluded at 5:30 pm in the evening. The students were given a detailed tour regarding the manufacturing of Li ion battery packs used in L1 category EV. Every step in the pack assembly starting from sorting of cells to attaching a BMS to the pack was visually explained in detail. Information regarding various battery chemistry ,its properties were also explained. It was a great learning experience for students.
