Department of Electrical Engineering has organized an industrial visit of State
Load Dispatch Center, GETCO, Vadodara for 3rd & Final Year UG, Final year
Diploma students. 36 students along with 2 faculty members visited the SLDC
on the mentioned date.
As the "brain" of the power system, SLDC plays a crucial role in monitoring
and controlling the grid. Our students gained valuable insights into:
Importance of LDC in power system operation
Grid hierarchy and its functioning
Entities involved in power system operation
Challenges in operation due to Renewable Energy penetrations
