A Patents’ Meeting was held for selected students from Diploma Computer Engineering and Diploma Information Technology, on 23rd March, 2024, Saturday at GCET from 9:30 am onwards.
It was begun with registration and refreshment from 9:30 am to 10:00 am followed by the meeting.
Meeting was scheduled for those students, who had either poor result in End Semester University
exam of 1st Semester or less attendance in 2nd Semester.
Meeting was attended by mentioned students, their parents/ guardians, their Counsellors and subject teachers, Principal, Head and Diploma coordinators of both departments.
The meeting commenced with a warm welcome to all parents, guardians, students, and faculties who attended. Principal Dr. Kaushik Nath addressed the audience explaining importance of consistency and sincerity in achieving good result. Then after Head, Computer Engineering, Dr. Maulika Patel and Head, Information Technology, Dr. Nikhil Gondaliya discussed about concerns of faculties about students’ result and attendance. They also touch upon the points about importance of regularity in attendance and submission, approaching faculties for doubt solving and role of discipline and decorum in their life. A question-and-answer session concluded the meeting, allowing parents to seek clarification on any concerns they may have had. Finally, Parents meet counsellor and subject teachers to get an exact idea about progress of their ward.
