IEEE GCET Student Branch in collaboration with the Computer Department of G.H. Patel College of Engineering and Technology (GCET), a constituent institute of Charutar Vidhya Mandal, Vallabh Vidyanagar, organized an “Expert Talk on Blockchain Technology” on 5th May, 2022 at 10:00 AM in GCET Seminar Hall. The Expert Session was conducted by Prof. Martin Parmar who is currently working as an Assistant Professor at CHARUSAT.The Expert talk was conducted at GCET Seminar Hall. The Speaker started the session with basic knowledge of Blockchain Technology. Then he took participants to the why Blockchain Technology is required, how it works, construction of Blockchain Technology. Then explained what the importance of Blockchain Technology is, its uses, and its different form. At last, he shared the real-life application of Blockchain and gave a demonstration.
