Code-e-Fiesta took place on 7th May 2022. The workshop was conducted by Prof. Mittal Darji, Assistant Professor, GCET IT Department and Prof. Vinita Shah, Assistant Professor, GCET IT Department.
The first phase of the workshop was conducted at the GCET Auditorium. Firstly, Prof. Mittal Darji explained the basics of Python, and walked the participants through topics like taking user input in Python, branching, iterations, functions, and scope of variables in Python. Prof. Mittal's lasted for 1 hour, wherein the queries of the students related to the topics taught were also answered.
The workshop was further taken ahead by Prof. Vinita Shah's session. She shed the light on further topics namely recursion, strings, and Python collections like lists, sets, tuples and dictionaries. The participants engaged actively throughout the session, eagerly asked their queries and got them solved by the speakers, and gained significant knowledge about the Python language. The speakers were presented by a memento and a letter of appreciation by the IEEE GCET SB as a gesture of gratitude.
