World Entrepreneur Day is celebrated every year on 21 August. As a part of the same, talk were organised for GCET students, delivered by GCET alumni who are into entrepreneurship currently.

Topic: Entrepreneurship: A Joy Ride
Ankit is alumni of Mechanical Engineering Department, GCET. He has done is MTech form IIT, Mumbai and is the founder of firm Linkup. During the talk, Ankit highlighted his journey and shared his experiences related to his startup. He stressed on the need to keep trying hard and also suggested some of the sources to secure initial funding for a statup.

Topic: Ask me anything about entrepreneurship
Deep is alumni of Computer Engineering Department, GCET. He has worked at many companies including likes of Amazon. He is currently engaged in running his start-up venture called Makkajai.
Deep made a detailed presentation related to issues/question that one comes across as an entrepreneur. He highlighted the need to start early and be ready to face failures.
