The Electronics and Communication engineering department of GCET took forth the initiative and organized one-day workshop on "Wireless Sensor Network Design using XBee wireless module" at GCET on 10th October 2015, Saturday. The workshop basically was an expert session by Dr. Bhaskar Thakkar , Head of Department, Electronics and Communication Engineering, GCET under the "Skill Development Workshop Serie s" -an initiative by Electronics and Communication Engineering Department . The workshop was technically supported by IEEE GCET Student Branch More than 70 studentsfrom UG and PG level 3,2 nd Year BE, 42 3rd Year BE, 5-4th Year BE, 11,1st Year ME and 10,2nd Year MEtook keen interest and participated in the workshop.Also many faculties of EC department and other departments from GCET took active participation in the workshop.
