Department of Information Technology G H Patel College of Engineering and Technology (GCET), a Charutar Vidya Mandal institute, Vallabh Vidyanagar, organized an expert talk on Resume Building and Guidelines for Interview Process , which was delivered by Mrs. Aarti Vaishnav, CEO ? Exxat LLC., a GCET Alumni, on 29th December, 2015. This was specially organized for the third year students of Information Technology Department, Computer Department, Electronics and Communication Department and Electrical Department. Mrs. Aarti Vaishnav gave a brief idea about proper resume and career building to students. Key points of the expert talk included: how to build a good resume, how to select proper company for placement, know a company's needs and requirements, things to be included in a resume or excluded from resume etc. There was also a question answer round during which Mrs.Vaishnav interacted with students and solved their queries. The lecture gave good knowledge and proved beneficial for the students. We met with a satisfactory response from the students, they had a good interaction with the speaker and they found this expert talk a good help for their future planning for placement a ctivities and job opportunities.
