G H Patel College of Engineering and Technology (GCET) celebrated foundation day on 25th November, 2015 at 10:00 am in presence of staff members of the Institute. The institute was started functioning in the year 1996 and its first stone laying down function held on 25 th November, 1995. Currently GCET is running eight programmes at UG and seven programmes at PG level. The celebration was started with the speech of the Principal Dr. Himanshu Soni. He delivered talk on the progression of the Institute since its inception and the contribution made by the chairman Dr. C. L. Patel, donors of the institute, Ex. Professors and staff members. He also appreciated the efforts done by the team GCET for achieving this reputation of the college at national level and motivated to do the best by the individual for the growth of the institute in the coming days. He floated the fact that all should work together for achieving progress of the institution and of the individual too; finally all have to work to fulfill ultimate goal of spiritual upliftment. Many staff members who are serving the institution since the foundation were also present on this day and they share their journey with the institute. Prof. Vipul Shah, Dr. Yogesh Chauhan, Dr. Jatin Patel, Dr. Hemant Thakkar, Prof. Snehal Popli and Ms. Kalpana Patel shared their experience. The celebration of the function was ended with the refreshment.
