Electronics and Communication Engineering Department of GCET took an initiative to enhance skills and knowledge of their students and as its result they initiated "Skill Development Workshop Series". After successfully organising first workshop of series on Wireless Sensor Network Design using Xbee Wireless Module in October, 2015,department came with a two day workshop on "Embedded System Design using TI's Advanced Microcontroller MSP430" on 6 th and 7th February, 2016 at GCET .Whole workshop was conducted by Dr. Bhaskar Thakkar,Professor and Head,Electronics and Communication Engineering Department,GCET. It was Co-ordinated by Prof. Shankar Parmar, Assistant Professor, Electronics and Communication Engineering Department, GCET.The workshop was technically and voluntarily supported by GCET IASIndustry Applications Society" Chapter of IEEE GCET Student Branch.Total 20 students from UG and PGlevel took keen interest and participated inthe workshop.
