One Day National Symposium on Internet of Things

        One Day Symposium was organized by Computer Engineering Department, G. H. Patel College of Engineering and Technology on?Internet of Things?in association with Computer Society of India and Sponsored by Gujarat Council on Science and Technology GUJCOST). Around 308 Students and Faculty members from various institutes such as GEC Modasa,Babariya Institute of Technology, Vadodara Institute of Technology, DJMIT, BVM, MBICT, ADIT, DDU, SVMIT, Darshan Institute of Technology, Marwadi Institute of technology,Rajkot etc. participated in the Symposium. The aim of organizing the Symposium was to introduce the next technological revolution which will be our future. The technology is on the verge of extending the communication between the things and connects things and human through internet. Thus things will have information and wil l have the ability to make decisions. This changes the complete scenario of using things and internet. Symposium was inaugurated by Dr. C. L. Patel, Chairman, Charutar Vidya Mandal and President of the function,Shri V.M.Patel,Hon.Joint Secretary,CVM,Dr.Debajyoti Mukhopadhyay,Dean,RandD,Maharashtra Institute of Technology,Pune and Chief Guest, of the function, Dr.D.B.Choksi,Chairman,CSI-Vallabh Vidyanagar Chapter and Guest of Honor, Dr. Himanshu Soni, Principal, GCET, Dr. Maulika S.Patel, Head, Computer Engineering Department, and Convener of the Symposium and Prof. Hetal Gaudani, Program Coordinator.
