Ltd., Baroda on 6th September, 2014 from 10:00 am to 12:00 Noon. Dr. Khadeeja Priyan, HOD, Civil Engineering Department has given welcome address & formal introduction of the speaker. The floral welcome was given by Prof. Vipul R Shah, Associate Professor of Mathematics. It was a motivating and inspiring session to our first year civil engineering students. The lecture was really an enlightening for our students by getting an idea about the history of civil engineering, tips to become a good civil engineer, importance of maths in engineering, industry's expectations from a civil engineer and the simple explanation of mechanics of structures. The students and the faculty members were appreciating the effort of the speaker to make the session very interesting and effective. As a token of love & regards a memento was given to Mr. Ketan Patel, by Dr. Himanshu Soni, Principal GCET.
