TechknowTalk Club under the Department of Information Technology ,G H Patel College of Engineering & Technology (GCET), a constituent institute of Charutar Vidya Mandal , Vallabh Vidyanagar, organized an webinar on “Enhancing Your LinkedIn Profile”, which was coordinated by Dr. Nikhil Gondaliya ,Professor & Head,IT department and Prof. Deven A. Gol, Assistant Professor, IT department on 3rd september, 2020 from 10:30am(IST) and was mainly organized for the students of Information Technology of all levels.

The event was held online on the Microsoft Teams platform. Approximately 70 participants attended the session. The speaker started by giving a basic idea about the LinkedIn platform, for what purpose it is used and how it is different from other social media platforms . He discussed about various feauters of LinkedIn and demonstrated how to use them. He then gave the idea about the content you should post on your LinkedIn. He showed us the LinkedIn profile of various people as an example through which participants can understand that the content they are posting on LinkedIn should be relevant to their skills they have specified. Then he explained how to build the connections on LinkedIn based on your area of interest. At last he explained various Advantages of LinkedIn like if you use LnkedIn effectively then it will help you to get an internships opportunities , you can also find job opportunities on LinkedIn etc. The session ended with a question-answer round and a thank you note.
