Industrial visit to Sardar Sarovar Dam

        The Sardar Sarovar Dam is a gravity dam on the Narmada river near Navagam, Gujarat in India. Sardar Sarovar Dam (SSD) is the largest structure to be built. It is one of the largest dams in the world. It is a part of the Narmada Valley Project, a large hydraulic engineering project involving the construction of a series of large irrigation and hydroelectric multi-purpose dams on the Narmada river. Third Year Mechanical Class II (A.Y 2018-19) visited Sardar Sarovar Dam on 26th February 2019. Prof. Ravi Rathod, Prof. Jvalant Trivedi and Prof. Akarsh Jain accompanied the students.
