Electric vehicle revolution is gaining a stronger ground all over the world and most automobile companies are pledging to switch to electric vehicles, a cleaner and sustainable E-mobility system. Due to advancements in electric vehicle technology and infrastructure, we can expect usage of electric vehicle to grow. Hence, high requirement of skilled workforce in manufacturing for the transition to this environment friendly e-mobility technology is required. Looking to the need of industries, this course is designed to equip students with multidisciplinary expertise in design, analysis, control and operation of electric vehicles.


Target Audience:

All students of CVM University During 2nd and 3rd year of graduation study. Enrollment will be restricted for the students based on the program (degree) they are studying.

A NOVEL ECO-FRIENDLY HYBRID PROCESS FOR ENRICHMENT OF SODIUM LIGNOSULFONATE FROM DIGESTER BLACK LIQUOR OF PROSOPIS JULIFLORA HARD WOOD

In the proposed project the kraft black liquor obtained from the digestion of Prosopis juliflora hard wood, having concentration of around 12-15%, will be concentrated in an ultrafiltration (UF) process combined with a suitable prior treatment. The reject stream from UF, which is expected to have higher concentration will be fed to a double effect evaporator for further concentration up to more than 50%, and finally to a spray drier. The permeate stream from the UF containing much of alkalies and other soluble pulping chemicals will be reused for pulping. The scheme is expected to reduce the load on the evaporator with less overall energy consumption. It also leads to a zero liquid discharge plant. The ligosulphonate powdery solid obtained after spray drying has the potential to be used as filler in the ceramic, concrete, rubber manufacturing as well as carrier in pesticides making.
