G H Patel College of Engineering and Technology (GCET), a Charutar Vidya Mandal institute, Vallabh Vidyanagar, organized a Seminar on "Open Web Application Security Project –Top 10 2017", which was conducted by Prof. Deven Gol from IT Department at GCET Engineering College, V. V. Nagar on 17th July,2018. This was specially organized for the second year students of Information Technology Department.

Prof. Deven Gol has explored about OWASP TOP 10 - 2017 and areas of Cyber Security in which recent work is going on. He has explained about Different use of Pen Test tools and Demo of OWASP-ZAP to students. The lecture & practical aspect of this Seminar is to give a brief knowledge about currently research in Cyber Security and understanding importance of it. Students had a good interaction with the speaker and students admitted that this expert talk is proven to be good help for their subject of Design Engineering to work on area of cyber security. Total seventeen students got participated in workshop.
