Information Technology Department of G H Patel College of Engineering and Technology (GCET), a Charutar Vidya Mandal institute, Vallabh Vidyanagar, organized a workshop on Installing an Operating system and Kali Linux, which was conducted by Prof. Deven Gol, Assistant Professor at GCET Engineering College, V. V. Nagar on 23rd September,2017. This was specially organized for the second year students of Information Technology Department and Computer Engineering Department.

Prof. Deven Gol has explored about Kali Linux and areas of Cyber Security in which recent work is going on. He has explained about Different use of Pen Test tools and Student Coordinator has shown demonstration of Installation of OS (Windows & Linux) to students. The lecture & practical aspect of this workshop is to give a good knowledge about Kali Linux and Installing Operating System. Students had a good interaction with the speaker and students admitted that this expert talk is proven to be good help for their subject of university which is offered in upcoming semester. Total thirteen students got participated in workshop.
