GCET IEEE branch was approved by IEEE Headquarters, New- York on the 28th February, 2006. The founding branch consisted of total 29 student members and 2 executive members. GCET IEEEStudent Branch is the 7th IEEE Student Branch in Gujarat Section, positioned in IEEE's Asia Pacific Region(IEEE Region 10).

The IEEE GCET student branch is well supported by the Charutar Vidhyamandal and our beloved Principal Dr. Himanshu Soni to provide a worthy platform to amateurs and beginners.

Currently, IEEE GCET SB is led by Dr. Hardik Pathak, Branch counsellor and Mr. Swayam Bhalodia, Chairperson, IEEE GCET SB with his team of highly energetic and expert team of IEEE volunteers.
