On 7 August 2014, P. Atmaswarup Swami (Kothari Saint, Akshardham ? New Delhi) along with the P. Bhagvat Charan Swami (Kothari, BAPS Swaminarayan Temple, Anand), other saints and devotees have visited G H Patel College of Engineering and Technology (GCET) at 9:30 am. The staff members of GCET have offered a very warm welcome to all saints and devotees. At the beginning, P. Atmaswarup Swami had a short interaction with Dr. Himanshu Soni (Principal, GCET college). Dr. Himanshu Soni have also given introduction of all heads of department, faculty members and non teaching staff. Everyone have taken the blessings of P. Atmaswarup Swami. Approximately 100 people, including staff members and students, have remained present to welcome all saints and to earn the blessings of P. Atmaswarup Swami. While sharing the thoughts with staff members and students, P. Atmaswarup Swami has showered his expression of good wishes for GCET. P. Atmaswarup Swami has said that everyone has to consider GCET as a family for its utmost progress. He also added that GCET will become the best (number one) college with the collective effort of faculty members, students and supporting staff. In the context of that he also shared his idea about the collective effort. He added that one should not work individually for himself, but contrary should work for GCET. "Progress of institution is the real progress of all belonging to it", he added. P. Atmaswarup Swami has given stress upon the feeling of ownership for the organization, where one is serving. In that regard, swami said, "In absence of the feeling of ownership, it is difficult create affection to the organization." At last, everyone has gathered for prayer. All saints have showered blessings at the New Mechatronics building at the time of departure. It is indeed an awesome opportunity to have such an eminent personality at GCET for motivational wordings.
