Department of Electrical Engineering had organized two days workshop on Concept of Control System & its applications in MATLAB on 23rd -24th April, 2015 for the 2nd year Electronics and communication & Mechatronics students. Total 45 students participated in the workshop. The workshop aimed towards the fundaental concepts of control systems ranging from history to classical control techniques like R-H criterion, Root locus, Bode methods and its application in matlab. The entire two day sessions were delivered by mainly Prof. Ishaq Sheikh. Also a session on Matlab application was conducted by Prof. Nikhil Patel. The beneficiaries gained insight & knowledge about the different kinds of control systems & different classical methods to tabilize the plant or system. The students also attended hands-on session & learned sketching of different plots for various stability methods.
