The CSI Student Branch at G. H. Patel College of Engineering and Technology (GCET), V.V. Nagar, organized an expert talk on “UI/UX Workshop” on 17th February 2025. Designed for students of the CSD department, the workshop attracted a total of 90 participants eager to enhance their design skills and understanding of user experience principles. The workshop was divided into two sessions, each focusing on different aspects of UI/UX. The morning session (9:00 A.M. – 12:30 P.M.) provided a hands-on experience with Figma, where participants explored interface design, prototyping, and essential UI principles through guided exercises. Following a lunch break, the afternoon session (2:00 P.M. – 3:30 P.M.) offered an overview of graphic design, covering fundamental concepts such as typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy in UI/UX. Participants engaged enthusiastically, gaining practical insights into modern design tools and principles. The workshop successfully equipped them with the knowledge and skills necessary to create user-friendly and visually appealing digital experiences.
