A virtual Industrial tour at "Supernova Technologies, Vitthal Udyognagar" was organized by Prof. Ravi Rathod for 3rd-year Mechanical Engineering Students on 2nd September 2020. Supernova Technologies is an SSI, NSIC registered, ISO 9001:2015 certified, and MNRE approved company. It is one of the first to develop small wind generators suited to the Indian climate and environment. It is also the first company with indigenous technology to be approved by the CWET, in connection with an MNRE scheme. Their Braille educational laboratory and battery-operated tricycle kit won the national award for invention in 2002.
