The session provided the insights to the switchyard of a thermal power plant. The speaker
presented an outstanding presentation on journey of electricity from the generator terminals to
the grid. He explained all the components and recent practices in the switchyard. His
presentation consisted of ample number of photographs and images of latest equipment used
in the switchyard of Adani Thermal Power Station, Dahanu. He discussed some topics which are
not covered in regular curriculum. The session was indeed fruitful in terms of knowledge
gaining.
