"Education, Work & Entrepreneurship in USA" by Mrs. Aditi Desai, GCET alumnus 1996 batch.

        The CSI Student branch at G. H. Patel College of Engineering and Technology(GCET) and Computer Engineering Department (GCET) organized an Alumni talk on “Education, Work & Entrepreneurship in USA” on 19th January, 2019. The seminar was organized for third and fourth year students of Computer Engineering and Information Technology Department. It was conducted by Mrs. Aditi Desai, GCET alumna 1996 batch. She completed her Masters in Computer Networks from University of Southern California. She is currently working as a Chief Business Consultant and has started her own firm in USA. Ruhul Khatri and Yashasvi Parikh were the student coordinators of the seminar. The speaker shared her journey from GCET to USA with the students in a humorous way that made the students understand the value of the current graduation years and what they need to do to get there just like her. She boosted their morals by sharing how her project on “Compilers” helped her get a job and pay the fees for the university that she was studying in. Students asked various doubts about the current Trump policy affecting us and also about how they can follow her path to settle in USA. It was a very helpful talk for all the students planning to study and settle abroad.
