The Department of Information Technology, G H Patel College of Engineering and Technology organized a seminar on “MongoDB and Node.js” on Wednesday, 6th February 2019. The event was coordinated by Dr. Nikhil Gondaliya. The seminar was delivered by Mr. Abhishek Pujara, Founder, Sky9 IT Craft Solution, Rajkot. His areas of expertise are Android, MongoDB, Node.js and many more. He has delivered expert talks and workshops on said areas at reputed institutes of the state.
Total 32 students of the third year were benefitted by this seminar. The expert discussed the benefits of using NoSQL database such as MongoDB as compared to RDBMS. He also made aware students about power of JavaScript and it’s example is Node.js. The real time demonstration of MongoDB and Node.js were shown with sample scripts.
