Department of electrical engineering has organized one week STTP on “Power System Modelling, Analysis & Control”. This short term training program aims for bringing together the researchers, teaching fraternity, industry persons and post graduate students from across the state to exchange the innovative ideas face-to-face. The sessions in this program will widespread the latest trends of modern power system modelling, analysis and control through faculties of various institutions.
Department of Computer Engineering is going to organize One week STTP on "Machine Learning for Internet of Things (IoT)" from 26th November 2018 to 1st December 2018.The short term training program aims for bringing together the researcher, teaching fraternity and industry person across state to exchange innovative ideas face to face. This program will cover various tools,techniques,applications and issues using internet of things (IoT) and Machine learning.
GCET organized Garba Sandhya on 8th October, 2018. Like every year, it turned
out to be huge and successful event. Garba Sandhya is GCET’s own, totally student
organized one day Garba event conducted to celebrate the pious occasion of
Navaratri prior to it. All students participate enthusiastically to keep this tradition
Prizes are to be awarded for best performance in Garba for male and female categories and also for best costumes in both the categories. Alongwith this two prizes are to be declared for faculty members also for best performance in garba.
Apart from that competitions were also organized for Aarti Thali decoration and Rangoli.
The event was organized for the second year students of Electrical Engineering Department. It was a group activity; there were total 76 students present, four participants in each group. There were around Twenty three (23) projects made by students on different topics in this event. Students learnt team work and discipline. From this event they were also learnt how to implement logic or circuit on breadboard or on PCB by doing soldering.
