Situated in the exquisite lush green of nature the township of Vallabh Vidyanagar is about 5 km. away from Anand, the milk capital of India. (Between Ahmedabad and Vadodara on NH 8). This educational township was established in the year 1946 by the blessings of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the iron man of India, whose birthplace Karamsad, is just 3 km from here. Besides institutions of learning from KG to PG and highly sophisticated research centers it ensures an easy access to industry for practical exposure. The town is close to Anand, wherein organizations like NDDB, Amul Dairy, and IRMA are situated.
