This one-day workshop on XBee Modules for ZigBee based Wireless Sensor Network Design is organized for the students of 4th year EC department with an objective to develop skill for Wireless Sensor Network design along with to create awareness about the wireless sensors, networks using XBEE modules. Basics of Zigbee protocol specifications is covered along with demonstration of XBEE modules, their configuration for forming the sensor network and hardware / software tools are taught to the students.
