Mechanical Engineering Department of G H Patel College of Engineering & Technology has organized One Day Workshop on “Design of Experiment” on 15th February, 2018. The content was designed for 1st & 2nd Year PG students of Industrial Engineering & Mechatronics Engineering. Total 25 participants attended the workshop. In this workshop, Basic concept of design of experiment, Taguchi analysis & TOPSIS techniques were discussed with the practical exposure of case-studies in these fields. Also a hands-on practice session on DOE using MINITAB software was conducted to develop their skills in applying the techniques. Dr. Vivek Deshpande and Prof. Mihir Solanki of Mechanical Engineering Department of GCET, delivered the technical lectures. Prof. Afzal Alad and Prof. Mihir Solanki conducted the practice session.
