A two-day workshop on “Fundamentals of PSCAD and General Applications” was organized by Department of Electrical Engineering during 2-3 August, 2017. The workshop was conducted by Prof. Mukesh M Bhesaniya, Associate Professor, Department of Electrical engineering, GCET. Total 19 students of Second year PG and Second year UG had participated. This workshop was designed to familiarize students with the general operation of PSCAD Version X4. With hands-on examples, students learned to develop proficiency with PSCAD X4 and its applications. While this course was aimed at new and novice users, these 2 days of the workshop was quite informative for most of the students.
