Department of Information Technology has organized
a workshop on "Introduction to Visual Studio Tool"
for 2 nd.Aim of workshop was to make students aware about tool and give them basic idea about website building using visual studio tool. Two sessions were conducted in workshop. Theoretical concepts were covered by Prof.Yogesh Dangar, followed by hands on training session. Prof. Yogesh Dangar was assisted by
student coordinators Mr. Harekrushna Patel and Mr. Mayank Patel.Following topic s were covered in practical session. 1.Introduction to Visual Studio 2.0
2. Use of Various Controls of ASP.NET
3. Master Page Concept
4.Database Connectivity n theory session
, students were explained about need of such tool and similar frameworks.Students learned about various controls like buttons, textbox, checkbox etc and their utility.They also learned about methodology to use different functions of controls, their interconnection
s and their way of use. Apart from that they learned about master page concept and database connectivity. In addition to this, students were made aware about how these functionalities can be used to build a dynamic website.In hands on training session,students were given a task to build dynamic website using
functionalities explained in theory session. They made dynamic pages for login, registration and editing personal details. At the end of visit, students
gave feedback that they had a good experience
of learning .They also told that this training will help them in choosing and building projects in further
semesters
