Mechanical Engineering Department has successfully organized International Conference on Emerging Trends in Mechanical Engineering (ICETME 2017) during 24th and 25th February 2017. The conference which was in continuation of the legacy established by the department in the year 2008 and meant for offering a common platform for knowledge sharing. The conference got an overwhelming response in the form of participation from academicians, researchers and industry personnel across the world. The conference was graced by eminent personalities like Dr. Xie Min (City University of Hong Kong), Dr. Suhas Joshi (IIT, Bombay), Dr. S A Channiwala (SVNIT, Surat) and Dr. Himanshu Trivedi (Bosch Rexroth, Ahmedabad), who delivered expert talks on insightful issues related to academics and industry. Delegates from different parts of the country and world presented their research papers. There was a video conferencing presentation from overseas delegate of Denmark. The delegates from various reputed academic institutions, and industry presented their research work. Many students also participated in the conference.
