Seminar on Aptitude Awareness

       

The CSI Student branch at G.H. Patel College of Engineering and Technology (GCET), V.V. Nagar (region III) organized Aptitude Awareness Seminar on 21st February, 2018. It was organized for the students of 3rd year students of IT and Computer Department as an effort to prepare students for frequently occurring Aptitude tests in various exams of national importance, and in placements.

Prof. Jay Raval, Assistant Professor at MBICT has 7 years of experience of preparing students for aptitudes of GRE and GMAT, was invited as the guest speaker by the convener of the event, Prof. Deven Gol, Assistant Professor at Department of Information Technology.

The seminar hosted an audience of 50 students, who were introduced to the world of aptitude. Students learnt about the right attitude to face any aptitude test, how to prepare for the test and how to make the process of learning easier and more fruitful. Later in the seminar, students were taught about tips and hacks about how to face questions and save time. Moreover, the speaker asked students to solve some problems and helped them in making strategy to solve the problem in time-effective manner.

Prof. Jay Raval did a wonderful job in guiding students and giving them a head start in their preparation for aptitude test and placement drives. The students were excited about their future journey. At the end, Prof. Jay Raval was felicitated with the token of gratitude by the convener of the event. The event ended with a brief thanking note.
