Department of Information Technology, G H Patel College of Engineering and Technology had organized a one day workshop on ?Windows App Development?. Prof. Yogesh N Dangar and Prof. Nirav M Raja were faculty coordinators of the event. Expert had shared knowledge about how to develop windows based applications. The workshop was divided in to two phases. Phase 1: 10:30 AM to 01:10 PM In phase 1, Expert had discussed about various Microsoft app development competitions and motivates students to participate in such competitions. Expert had also shown live demo of windows app development and student had perform hands on based on that demo. Phase 2: 02:00 PM to 05:00 PM In phase two, Expert had shown live demo about how to develop windows 8 metro application and student had created one static metro application for windows 8. Expert had also discussed about how we can upload our application on windows store. Expert had shown complete demo for uploading application to windows store. Expert had also discussed about Gaming applications and how we can generate revenue by creating such kind of application.
