An Industrial visit was organized for the final year students of Mechatronics Branch to Tirth Agro Technology Pvt. Ltd. located at Rajkot. It is a leading Indian agricultural equipment manufacturer of the country. The company has mechanized Indian agriculture with the help of innovative agricultural equipments. They also produce the spare parts of the equipments. They brand name for the equipments manufactured by them is “SHAKTIMAN”. The company is the market leader in India and also the largest rotary tiller manufacturer in the world. Various sections like Cutting, Bending, Welding, Heat Treatment, and Assembly were shown to the students during this visit. The highlight was the welding department which is equipped with Robot based welding. The students could get the exposure to the state of the art manufacturing facilities. The students were accompanied by Dr. Yogesh Chauhan and Prof. Pathik Patel.
