Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, Information Technology and Electrical Engineering have jointly successfully organized International Conference on Intelligent Systems and Signal Processing during 24th and 25th March 2017
The conference which was continuation of the legacy established by the department in the year 2009 and meant for offering a common platform for knowledge sharing, got an overwhelming response in the form of a huge number of academicians, researchers and industry personnel participation from across the country.
The main emphasis of this conference was on dissemination of information, experience and research results on the current topics of interest through in-depth discussions and participation of researchers from all over world. The objective was to provide a platform to the scientists, research scholars and industrialist to interact and exchange of ideas in a number of research areas. This would facilitate communication among researchers in different fields of Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering as well as Information Technology.
ISSP-2017 is facilitated with Pre-Conference Workshops on 23rd March 2017. Pre-Conference Workshops aimed to discuss theoretical and practical aspects of emerging technologies by renowned technocrats in the field of Communication & Information Technology and Electrical Engineering.
The conference was graced by eminent personalities like Mr Joseph Klein (CEO, Disrupt6 Inc.), Dr. S V Kulkarni (IIT, Bombay), Dr. Nischal Verma (IIT, Kanpur) and Dr. Himanshu Bahirat (IIT, Bombay) who delivered keynote sessions on insightful issues related to academics and industry. Delegates from different parts of the country presented their research papers. The delegates from various reputed academic institutions, and industry presented their research work. Many students also participated in the conference.
Dr. Himashu Soni (Principal, GCET) congratulated Dr. Bhaskar Thakkar (EC Head), Dr. Nikhil Gondaliya (IT Head), Dr. Ritesh Patel (EE Head) and all staff members with student volunteers for the success of the event. The departments have expressed deep sense of gratitude towards Charutar Vidya Mandal for supporting the conference.
