The program was supported by ISTE and IE (I) Vallabh Vidyanagar Local Centre. Total 15 speakers were invited to deliver / share their expertise in the domain of tribology. The invited speakers were Dr. Harish Hirani (IIT – Delhi), Dr. Tarunedra Singh (BPCL), Mr. SPRS Negi and Mr. Pratik Bhrambhatt (FAG Bearings), Mr. Amit Ganguli (Ducom Industries – Banglore), Dr. K N Mistry (Principal –GIDC Engineering college), Dr. D V Bhatt (SVNIT – Surat), Dr. R V Upadhyaya (Charusat University), Dr. Bharti Rehani (M S University) and Dr. Mukesh Bulsara (Professor, GCET). Total 34 participants attended the program from various engineering colleges across the country. The inauguration of the programme was conducted in the presence of Shri V M Patel (Hon. Joint Secretary, CVM), president of the function, Dr. K N Mistry (Principal, GIDC Engineering College), Chief Guest of the function, Dr. Himanshu Soni (Principal, GCET), and Dr. Darshak Desai (Head – Mechanical Engg. Dept.).
