The department has organized two days workshop on Research Presentation & Writing
Skills for PG students under the auspicious of IEEE, Students Chapter. The aim of the
workshop was to prepare and train the PG students to improve their presentation and
writing skills which are very much essential for dissertation work.
More than 90 PG students from GCET, BVM, ADIT and CHARUSAT attended the workshop.
Following topics were covered by expert:
1) Dr. Anand Joshi: Importance of Research in Engineering
2) Dr. Ritesh Patel: Presentation Preparation and Delivery Skills
3) Dr. Bhaskar Thakkar: Writing Skills
4) Prof. Vipul Rajput: Advanced Skills of Microsoft Word
5) Prof. Sumit Rathor: Various Helping Tools
All the sessions were very informative and useful. Participants enjoyed all the session
with keen interest and also interacted with the speakers.
