The Electronics and Communication Engineering Department of G. H. Patel College of
Engineering and Technology, Vallabh Vidyanagar has organized a Parent-Teacher
Interaction (PTI) meeting on Sunday, 4th Sept. 2016 in college seminar hall at 10:00am.
The main purpose of meet was to create a common platform, where teacher and parents
come together to enrich the student?s educational experiences and discuss variety of issues,
regarding all round development of students.
Research has shown that parental involvement is the most important factor in a student's
success in college. We value the support and commitment of parents. This supports
working culture of the college and its ethos is very important to all of our students. Indeed
it is vitally important for all of us involved in this educational partnership between
teachers, students and parents. As parents/guardians and college, let us work together to
foster positive self-esteem, motivation and fulfilment in our students. Let us hope that
when the time comes for these young adults to leave college, that they will have a positive
start in life, are prepared for modern life and they will be enabled to make a meaningful
contribution to society in the future. We ask parents to keep in close contact with the
college. We encourage parents to contact the Class Tutor and counselor to enquire about
performance, the contentment or the behavior of their son/daughter.
The meeting was started by introductory speech of Event Coordinator Prof. Rohit Parmar.
He welcomed all the parents/guardians and students.
The meeting was organized under guidance and president ship of Dr. Bhaskar Thakkar,
