The open house is a concept adopted by institute to showcase the facilities available on campus for students in various domains like classrooms, laboratories (of all the branches), computer centers, workshop, library,hostels, auditorium, seminar hall etc. All the classrooms and labs were kept open to be explored by an individual and understand their importance and relativity with the domain they are used in.In response to this noble act by GCET family, around 150 students from three different schools of Anand and Vidyanagar region actively participated in the event and got benefited by same. It seemed quite useful for the students and they can make proper judgment before taking admission in any institute.Institute arranged transportation facility for the students of schools in Anand region. In the morning first students were assisted by the team of Lab assistants to visit various laboratories and experimental setups along with other infrastructural facilities of college. Following to this visit and light refreshment a session was arranged in GCET Seminar Hall to give awareness about Engineering Disciplines and their Scopes at GCET by HOD of Electrical Engineering Department Dr. Ritesh R Patel. At the end Principal Dr. Himanshu Soni motivated the students with their Q&A session and offered best wishes for their future.Visit was ended with Group Photo Sessions.This huge event would not be a success without the time and immense efforts put -in by the Team Open House comprising majorly of 16members. The management of institute is whole heartedly thankful to the whole team of Open House.
