A One Day Symposium on Advancements in Electronics and Communication Engineering

The symposium was organized with an aim to make Third & final year UG as well as PG students about the recent advances in the field of Electronics & Communication engineering, viz. Signal Processing, Optical communication, VLSI and RF circuit design. Around 65 participants from GCET and nearby institutes have participated in the symposium. First session was conducted by Prof. Ashok Ranade, who covered the basics of Digital Signal Processing and later on multi-rate signal processing. Second session was conducted by Prof. Anil Kshatriya, who delivered the expert talk on Free Space Optical Communication. The post lunch sessions were conducted by Dr. Anand Darji, who spoke on VLSI Digital Signal Processing & hardware related issues and Dr. Dhaval Pujara, who delivered the talk on RF circuit design- challenges and issues.
