Reverse Engineering & DesignConcepts for DesignEngineering

Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering has organized an expert lecture for the second level students of the Department on the topic of ReverseEngineering & Design Concepts for Design Engineering on 31st January,2017.Subject expert Prof. Ajaysinh Vaghela from Civil Engineering Department was invited to deliver a session on said topic. He conveyed that Reverse Engineering is a systematic methodology for analyzing the design for extracting information of an existing device or system orprocess, either as an approach to study the design or as a prerequisite for re-design.The process often involves disassembling something (a mechanical device, electronic component, computer program, or biological, chemical or organic matter) and analyzing its components and workings in detail.Prof. explained the concept of reverse engineering with several examples of day to day life. The session was organized in EC AV Room during the design engineering time slot.Students of second year EC andDesign Teachers attended the session with active involvement. The session ended with vote of thanks from Prof. Parthesh Mankodi and felicitation of speaker by Dr Bhaskar Thakkar, Head,EC Department.
