GCET has organized an orientation programme on 15/09/2013 for the newly joined faculty members. This programme was organized to direct them properly in academics and other related activities in the college. Principal, All Head of the Departments and around 25 newly joined faculty members were assembled in the Conference Room from 10:00 am to 12 Noon. Dr. Himanshu Soni, Principal GCET, gave an introductory talk on importance of education, present scenario of education in Gujarat, Role of Charutar Vidya Mandal in the education sector and CVM?s other educational institutions, History of GCET and Institute?s profile, academics & team work in the college, various central committees and student chapters, role of a teacher, and importance of students? attendance in the class.
