One day industry visit to Amul dairy was organized by Electronics & Communication Engineering Department , GCET , for their 3rd sem esterstudents as a part of Design Engineering subject activity. The visit was planned for making observations in desired framework of the course.Duetopriorcommunications with Amul dairy, Mr. Sudaran Public Relation officer made special arrangements for students of GCET. Visit started with the animation movie for showing glimpse of Amul dairy from its beginning at Anand districtat auditorium of dairy memorial. It alsogaveintroduction of company profile and its present functioning in dairy industry for different milk products. The technical team has explained automation of dairy through presentation containing many functional block diagrams and existing computerized controlled machineries. In post presentation period Mr. Dinbandhu guided us for old plant and new plant visit where students observed the totally automatic plant for Amul butter and milk powder. Also the pack ing techniques were demonstrated for various products. Visit ended with memorable experiences and taste of Amul flavored milk. We are thankful to the institute & company management for providing the all facilities and generous support.
